Indiana casinos record $191.6m AGR for December

The figure represents a 3.4% decrease year-over-year, as table games accounted for nearly $34.4m of the total, and slot machines generated the remaining $168.1m before tax deductions.

The Indiana Gaming Commission has released the state’s total casino activity for December 2025, as slot machines, table games and sports wagering combined to generate $191.6m in adjusted gross revenue (AGR), equating to a decrease of 3.4%. 

Slot machine and table game win prior to tax deductions were $168.1m and $34.4m, respectively, representing decreases of 3.3% and 5.7% from the prior year period. Casino and sports betting operators submitted nearly $80.9m in tax for December 2025, having risen 4.9%.

Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana led all casino operators with $34.5m of AGR for December 2025, equating to a decrease of 0.4%. 

Horseshoe Indianapolis and Harrah’s Hoosier Park generated December 2025 revenues of $27.8m and $20m, respectively, equating to a decrease of 2.9% for Horseshoe Indianapolis, but growth of 3.3% for the latter. 

Caesars Southern Indiana accounted for just over $19.5m of December 2025 revenue, decreasing 5.1%, while Horseshoe Hammond AGR for the monthly period fell 10.2% to $18.1m. 
 

Bally’s Evansville and Hollywood Lawrenceburg generated monthly revenues of $13.6m and $11.2m, representing an increase of 0.6% year-over-year but a decrease of 5.9% as well. 

Bettors across Indiana produced a total sports wagering handle of just over $544.4m for December 2025, equating to a 3.4% decrease. Operators currently conducting business in the state generated a taxable AGR of just over $65m for the monthly period, representing growth of 106.5% from the prior year period. 

Football, including college and NFL, accounted for $142.7m of the state’s total monthly handle for December 2025, while basketball generated an additional $145.8m of wagers. Parlay bets totaled $181.4m of Indiana’s total handle for December 2025, with all other wagers producing the remaining $74m.
