Spelinspektionen, Sweden’s Gambling Inspectorate has concluded its inspection of regulatory practices of licensed operators of Paf, Burstit and LeoEx
The review, which took place over the summer, examined various measures of the operators’ practices, focusing on their certification, deposit restrictions, login times, and the functionality of their gaming and business systems.
An investigation revealed that all three operators met the strict regulatory requirements set by the Swedish authority. Spelinspektionen confirmed that “all supervisory matters have been concluded without intervention against the licence holders, because the review has revealed nothing more than that the companies meet the current requirements.”
This review was part of the regulator’s ongoing efforts to ensure that licensed operators maintain high standards of safety and fairness within Sweden’s regulated gambling market.
As part of its updated supervision, Spelinspektionen has also announced new protocols for monitoring gaming technology.
“The licensees do not have to send in the protocols themselves but do so at the request of the Gambling Inspectorate. If they are not sent in at the request, this may affect the company’s licence,” the regulator said.
The investigation’s conclusion reinforces the Inspectorate’s commitment to maintaining a secure and transparent gaming environment in Sweden.
