Inspired Entertainment to launch Hybrid Dealer Roulette in Canada

B2B gaming content provider Inspired Entertainment has announced that Loto-Québec will be the first Canadian operator to offer its Hybrid Dealer Roulette game, set to launch in the fourth quarter of 2024.

About the game

The new game is the second launch in the company’s Hybrid Dealer series and features virtual computer-generated imagery (CGI) and pre-recorded hosts. It is a new, US-patented, game-changing online product category that offers players casino and gameshow content. A perk of this game is that it does not involve the challenges associated with live-dealer products.

The title is reflective of the motive to combine live casino experience and new technology to create a game that bridges traditional casino gameplay with modern virtual elements. Designed to mimic a live casino experience, the game will have a countdown timer to place bets before each round begins, and players will see the same results at the same time. One of the game’s main features is its social aspect, as it includes leaderboards and chat functions.

CEO comments

Brooks Pierce, President and CEO of Inspired, said, “We are thrilled to bring this innovative new game to Loto-Québec’s players, a first for Canada. Hybrid Dealer is a whole new category of games, and through our advanced technology, Loto-Québec will be able to provide a realistic branded roulette experience to their online players.”

Francois Hardy, Senior Director at Loto-Québec, said, “This collaboration demonstrates our commitment to offering the best online casino experience for our players through innovative solutions.

“We continuously seek new ways to enhance the player experience and keep our audience entertained. Inspired’s Hybrid Dealer Roulette game is an exciting innovation that we are confident will resonate with our players.”

In related corporate news, Inspired Entertainment recently announced that it has secured a National Hockey League (NHL) licence to expand its sports assets portfolio. The licence will allow Inspired to utilise various NHL brand assets.
