South Korean foreigner-only casino operator Grand Korea Leisure (GKL) reported an 11.1 per cent year-on-year rise in casino sales for April, supported by strong growth in table game revenue and higher casino drop across its properties.
According to a filing submitted to the Korea Exchange, GKL posted casino sales of KRW40.19 billion ($27.8 million) in April. The result was also 25.7 per cent higher than the previous month.

Machine game sales moved in the opposite direction. Revenue from gaming machines fell 4.6 per cent year-on-year to KRW3.16 billion ($2.2 million). On a monthly basis, machine sales were down 10.6 per cent.
For the first four months of 2026, cumulative casino sales totalled KRW146.84 billion ($101.6 million), up 1.7 per cent compared with the same period a year earlier.
During the January to April period, table game sales stood at KRW133.30 billion ($92.2 million). Machine game sales increased 15.6 per cent year-on-year to KRW13.54 billion ($9.4 million).
Supplementary business information released by the company showed that the Seoul Gangnam casino remained the largest contributor to monthly casino revenue.
The property generated KRW23.88 billion ($16.5 million) in casino sales during April. That figure represented a 39.9 per cent increase from a year earlier and a 58.8 per cent rise from March.
The Busan Lotte casino also recorded growth during the month. Casino sales at the property reached KRW6.23 billion ($4.3 million), up 12.3 per cent year-on-year and 28.9 per cent higher than the previous month.
In contrast, the Seoul Dragon City casino posted lower revenue in April. Sales at the property fell 25.6 per cent year-on-year to KRW10.08 billion ($7.0 million).

Casino drop refers to the amount of money exchanged for chips by players and is commonly used as an indicator of gaming activity.
The latest figures show that table game performance continued to support GKL’s overall casino business during April, while results across individual properties remained mixed. The Seoul Gangnam venue delivered the strongest growth among the operator’s three casinos, while Seoul Dragon City reported declines in both monthly and yearly comparisons.
