Stake has announced its launch in Argentina’s Buenos Aires Province, continuing its expansion across Latin America.

Operating via stake.bet.ar under a license granted by the Provincial Institute of Lottery and Casinos, Stake will offer Argentinian players access to its sportsbook and casino products.

The operator has reported recent growth in markets including Peru, Brazil and Colombia.

In the Argentinian market, Stake will benefit from an already established ambassador partnership with former local striker Sergio Aguero.

Diana Otalora, LatAm General Manager at Stake, stated: “Argentina is an important market for us and a natural next step in our expansion across Latin America. There is an incredibly passionate sporting culture, a large and digitally engaged population and strong long-term potential for Stake.

“We’ve continued to build momentum across Latin America in recent years and this launch reflects our ambition to establish Stake as the leading entertainment brand in the region. Argentina is a market with energy and identity and we’re excited to bring our world-class sportsbook and casino experience to players through stake.bet.ar.”

Earlier this month, Stake launched its online casino and sportsbook offering in Mexico, describing it as one of the region’s “most dynamic and fast-growing” markets.

Beyond Latin America, the operator recently secured entry into the Danish market via a five-year license.

In March, Stake appointed former Chelsea and Real Madrid winger Eden Hazard as a global ambassador ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Meanwhile, in the US it is facing scrutiny following a lawsuit alleging that it and Coinbase facilitate underage gambling at offshore casinos.
