In May, it had been reported Primm’s casinos, hotels and lottery store would cease operations on July 4
A representative of the Primm family in Las Vegas has confirmed an announcement regarding a potential partner to take control of the city’s casino, hotel and local business operations will be released “in the coming days.”
Following a report that Primm’s casinos, hotels, gas stations and Lotto Store would cease operations on July 4, Primm South President Cory Clemetson stated the family was “working on solutions” for the properties at risk.
The Primadonna Company plans to shut down operations at Primm Valley Resorts, Buffalo Bill’s Resort & Casino, Whiskey Pete’s Hotel & Casino, the Primm Center gas station, Flying J truck stop and The Lotto Store.
Regarding a new partner to operate Primm’s assets, Clemetson said: “We met them very early in the process, behind the scenes and out of the public eye, and we’ve had several meetings with really what many would consider top tier, you know, longtime successful Nevada hotel-casino operators.
“We’ve had some really great discussions and I don’t want to guarantee it, but hopefully within a week or less, and maybe in the coming days, we’ll have an announcement on a group that I think people will be very happy to hear. It’ll be a very legitimate group that’s done very well here for a long time.”
