iGaming platform provider Digitain has partnered with Colombo Sport, a regulated retail operator in the Dominican Republic. The collaboration will provide Colombo Sport’s network of betting shops with Digitain’s retail cashier and sportsbook solution.
Colombo Sport will be able to utilise Digitain’s sportsbook content including features like Book-a-Bet, Betbuilder, Sports Jackpot Cashout and live score visualisations.
The iGaming platform provider’s virtual sport content, featuring 20,000 daily events, will be offered at Colombo Sport’s shops as part of the agreement at regular intervals throughout the day.
The sportsbook solutions will be localised, tailoring to their betting preferences and focusing on regional sports events and market types. Moreover, Digitain’s cashier and sportsbook technology may streamline operations within its betting shops.
Digitain Chief Revenue Officer Iain Hutchison said, “Colombo Sport are a well-known betting brand in the Dominican Republic and wider Central Latin America and its commitment to customer excellence and satisfaction perfectly aligns with our values.
“We are excited about this collaboration that will undoubtedly enhance the sports betting experience for Colombo Sport’s growing premium retail expansion over the next few months.”
Colombo Sport’s CEO, Aldrin Paredes, added, “Partnering with Digitain is a significant milestone for the Colombo Sport brands’ expansion. Digitain’s innovative solutions and industry expertise will enable us to provide our customers with an improved retail sportsbook experience.
“We anticipate a fruitful collaboration to drive growth and deliver exceptional value to our business in the Central Latin American market.”
The collaboration follows regulatory approvals obtained by Digitain in Europe. Digitain had recently secured approval from Britain’s Gambling Commission, which the company said demonstrated its dedication to responsible gaming and compliance. The iGaming platform provider has also obtained a licence in Greece from the Hellenic Gaming Commission. The approvals will help achieve Digitain’s broader strategy to continue expanding its operations in markets across the globe.
