Kazakhstan’s Committee for the Regulation of Gambling Business and Lotteries has added 1,820 internet resources to its list of banned sites, as they were identified as unlicensed online casinos, reports the press service of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports.
“The Committee for Regulation of Gambling Business and Lotteries under the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan has updated the list of internet resources that do not have licenses to operate in the gambling sector. It includes 1,820 unique addresses associated with online casinos, which is prohibited by paragraph 2 of Article 6 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan,” the statement notes.
The list includes well-known platforms such as Vavada, Sultan Games, Pin Up, and others that violate regulations within Kazakhstan. All resources have been submitted to the “Cyber Oversight” system for legal assessment and subsequent blocking.
The Committee, established on September 4, 2024, monitors and ensures compliance with gambling legislation and identifies illegal resources.
