Report shows 91% of attendees plan to return to SiGMA Asia in 2025

In a recently issued post event report, courtesy of SuperSwan and Nextspin, SiGMA Asia reaffirms its position as one of the premier events in the gaming and emerging technology sectors for networking, collaboration and knowledge sharing. The event, held across several days at the SMX Convention Centre in Manila, attracted 17,000 attendees from 154 countries, including a notable 69% of decision-makers among the crowd. A diverse and growing community

The event continues to attract a mix of newcomers and returning participants. This year, 35% were first-time attendees, while 65% were second-time visitors, demonstrating SiGMA’s growing influence in the region.

Among the 230 exhibitors, 38% were first-timers, showcasing fresh innovations and services, while 62% had participated before, reinforcing their ongoing commitment to the event.

The exhibitor categories highlighted the diversity of both the online and offline gaming ecosystem:

  • Platform Providers led the charge with 31%, followed closely by Slots Providers at 27%, and Sportsbook Providers at 18%.
  • Other significant categories included Payments (17%), Live Dealer Providers (17%), and Table Games Providers (16%).
  • Emerging sectors like Esports and Blockchain & Crypto both held 9% representation, showcasing their growing relevance in the market.

Global representation

SiGMA Asia 2024 saw strong representation from across the globe. The top 10 attending countries included key Asian markets such as the Philippines, Malaysia, Taiwan, Indonesia, and Singapore, alongside Cyprus, India, the UK, Thailand, and China. This diverse participation highlighted the event’s role in bridging regional and international markets.

91% of attendees plan to return in 2025

The breakdown of attendee business types revealed that Game Providers made up the largest share at 23%, followed by Operators (19%) and Platform Providers (16%). Suppliers, Payment Providers, Affiliates, Regulators, Startups, Media, and Investors also had a notable presence.

Attendee satisfaction was overwhelmingly positive:

  • 97% rated their experience as satisfactory.
  • 92% would recommend SiGMA Asia to others.
  • 91% expressed plans to return in 2025.
    These metrics saw a year-on-year increase compared to 2023, where the respective figures stood at 85%, 83%, and 83%.

eGaming Licensing specialist at Manavia, Frank Schuengel said that it was “Safe to say that SiGMA Asia has grown since last year! Asia is well and truly open for business.”

“We enjoyed every minute and every conversation with our existing partners, clients, and new clients,” shared Yasmin Pace from CoinPayments. 

Meanwhile Pronet Gaming emphasised SiGMA Asia´s importance as “a springboard for establishing strategic partnerships and fostering collaboration.”

Attendees highlighted the following as their primary objectives for attending:

  1. Expanding partnerships, suppliers, and customer base: 74% 
  2. Staying updated on industry trends and regulations: 55%
  3. Discovering or evaluating new products/services: 51% 
  4. Promoting brands, products, or services: 47% 
  5. Gaining an overview of the Asian market: 45% 

The focus on retaining existing contacts and inspiring ideas reflected the ongoing evolution of priorities within the industry.

“This year’s event was a great success and received continuous praise. Next year, we plan to bring a more exciting event, on an even larger scale, with more localised content. We sincerely invite everyone to participate again, gain new knowledge, and work together to drive progress and development of the industry,” reflected SiGMA Asia Managing Director, Neil Shih.
