In a recently issued post event report, courtesy of SuperSwan and Nextspin, SiGMA Asia reaffirms its position as one of the premier events in the gaming and emerging technology sectors for networking, collaboration and knowledge sharing. The event, held across several days at the SMX Convention Centre in Manila, attracted 17,000 attendees from 154 countries, including a notable 69% of decision-makers among the crowd. The event continues to attract a mix of newcomers and returning participants. This year, 35% were first-time attendees, while 65% were second-time visitors, demonstrating SiGMA’s growing influence in the region.
Among the 230 exhibitors, 38% were first-timers, showcasing fresh innovations and services, while 62% had participated before, reinforcing their ongoing commitment to the event.
The exhibitor categories highlighted the diversity of both the online and offline gaming ecosystem:
SiGMA Asia 2024 saw strong representation from across the globe. The top 10 attending countries included key Asian markets such as the Philippines, Malaysia, Taiwan, Indonesia, and Singapore, alongside Cyprus, India, the UK, Thailand, and China. This diverse participation highlighted the event’s role in bridging regional and international markets.
The breakdown of attendee business types revealed that Game Providers made up the largest share at 23%, followed by Operators (19%) and Platform Providers (16%). Suppliers, Payment Providers, Affiliates, Regulators, Startups, Media, and Investors also had a notable presence.
