Sports betting platform betM is looking to optimise its Australia offering by fully migrating its technology infrastructure to BetMakers.
The transition, which has now been finalised, includes the transition to BetMakers’ Apollo platform and leveraging its Managed Trading Services (MTS) suite.
Lucas Hopkins, Head of Commercial at BetMakers, said: “BetMakers is very pleased to welcome betM to the BetMakers’ Apollo platform. I’m incredibly proud of the speed and precision the team has shown in handling the migration of an existing business from another technical solution.
“We are excited about sharing our roadmap of new features with betM and are thrilled to get this validation for the hard work and planning that the team have put into building the Apollo platform.”
First announcing that it is partnering with BetMakers back in mid-February, betM will utilise the Apollo platform to gain access to scalable tools that will strengthen its competitiveness.
Meanwhile, MGB – betM’s parent company – will use BetMakers’ MTS services to enhance its trading operations, optimise its risk management capabilities, and expand its market presence where possible.
Ryo Kitamura, Chief Executive Officer at MGB, added: “We are delighted to have completed the migration to BetMakers’ new Apollo platform. We’ve been able to achieve the switch very quickly and we are now ready to provide new and existing customers with an advanced betting solution.
“We are very excited about the upcoming products available through Apollo and the opportunity to work with the BetMakers team to deliver the best possible results”
BetMakers has found itself in a favourable position to strengthen its market share in horse race betting, coming out with stable financial accounts in FY25 – primarily driven by gains from its Apollo platform.
Speaking to company shareholders, Matt Davey, BetMaker Executive Chair, said: “Our recent technology upgrades have contributed to the significant improvements in operational efficiencies, with the roll-out of Apollo serving as a key catalyst.
“Our new and upgraded technology suite is having a dual effect: it positions BetMakers at the forefront of global wagering, while delivering further efficiency gains, a combination that we expect to drive further improvements in the second half of FY25.”
