Bally’s Corporation has expressed strong confidence in the future of The Star Entertainment Group following a strategic investment in the Australian gaming operator. While PointsBet appears to be leaning towards the acquisition offer made by Australian betting challenger brand Betr over that made by Japanese digital entertainment group MIXI.

Sportradar announced that its revenue for the first quarter of 2025 reached €311 million (an increase of €45 million compared to the same period in 2024), marking a 17% year-over-year growth.

Flutter Entertainment’s Q1 trading report cemented the US as the primary focus market, and with good reason, given the huge revenues the group is generating from the world’s largest economy. Additionally, Flutter Entertainment has completed its takeover of a majority stake in NSX, the parent company of one of Brazil’s largest online bookmakers, Betnacional.

Entain has become embroiled in yet another legal dispute, this time involving a number of investment firms. The latest lawsuit against the gambling operator names State Street Bank and Trust Company (trustee for the Roche US Retirement Plans Master Trust) and Northern Trust Company. According to City AM, the lawsuit is connected to financial issues the operator is facing in the securities market. 

Svenska Spel has announced Narva Communications as its new agency for corporate communications. While the Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC) has revealed a partnership with XIX Entertainment (XIX) as the former undergoes a transformation towards a global sports entertainment group.

Betano has become the main partner and shirt sponsor of Danish football club Brøndby IF, as the company continues to double down on its extensive sports marketing strategy.
