Edward Smyshliaiev has been named Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at GR8 Tech as the firm pursues global growth.
The new hire brings more than 20 years experience in software engineering, AI, machine learning, as well as large-scale digital transformation.
Speaking on his new role, Smyshliaiev said: “Joining GR8 Tech at the present moment fills me with immense enthusiasm. I am really impressed by the company’s innovative mindset and its ability to see clearly into the future.”
At the betting and gaming technology group, Smyshliaiev’s focus will mainly target building strong teams, streamlining development, and enhancing architecture. Gradually, he will take over key areas such as platform, information security and technical governance.
“I’m excited to work with the exceptional and gr8 team to redefine the limits of what is feasible and determined to provide unparalleled technological solutions that will empower our clients and disrupt the industry,” the new CTO added.
A shift in the company will now take place as Artur Ashyrov, who previously shared the roles of Deputy CEO and CTO, looks to implement a new focus on operational leadership.
“As I step into a broader strategic focus, I’m excited to support Edward in driving GR8 Tech’s product innovation from a leadership position rooted in tech,” noted Ashyrov. “It’s a natural evolution for a company building the future of B2B platforms.”
GR8 Tech has always put emphasis on creating a strong staff network, particularly when it comes to pursuing growth overseas.
CEO Evgenii Belousov said last year: “It’s a very tough global market. You have to have a perfect team to be able to compete and to win.”
In further company news, it was just last week that GR8 Tech moved to simplify and streamline the way its clients engage with its sportsbook solution and released a five-step guide for companies utilising its ULTM8 sportsbook iFrame.
The guide starts with planning and requirement gathering, including technical scope, branding needs and licensing details. It goes on to cover contracting and onboarding including Slack channel setups and live training. Meanwhile, the third stage looks at customisation, such as UK branding, gamification tools, CRM, bonus orchestration and risk tools.
