GR8 Tech is leveraging its partnership with world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk to maximise engagement ahead of his next bout.
The duo has launched a new cinematic video, entitled ‘Inspired to Greatness’, focusing on the modern history of boxing from the 1960s to the 2020s and from Miami and New York in the US to Usyk’s home city of Simferopol, Ukraine.
Usyk, who holds the undisputed heavyweight championship after back-to-back wins against Britain’s Tyson Fury in 2024, has been partnered with GR8 Tech for some time.
The fighter first partnered with the firm back in 2021, when it was operating as Parimatch Tech prior to its rebrand to GR8 Tech in early 2023. The arrangement was further expanded in January this year via a partnership between GR8 Tech and Usyk’s Ready to Fight boxing platform.
“Our technological partnership with Ready to Fight by Oleksandr Usyk is built on shared values: resilience, discipline, and a constant drive to perform at the highest level,” Sergey Ghazaryan, GR8 Tech Chief Revenue Officer, told SBC News.
“Inspired by Greatness” shows how these exact qualities evolve through time, and we believe this story will resonate with those who share our mindset – operators who are serious about growth, focused on results, and ready to lead.”
To build on the video, GR8 Tech will host a boxing-themed event, The Heavyweight Club, at iGB L!VE next month. The Heavyweight Club will combine GR8 Tech’s partnership with Usyk with the company’s technology products and solutions as a means to engage with the various industry attendees.
Tech on display includes the Acceler8 suite and augmented reality, the latter including an AR experience featuring Usyk. The club also features a demo zone showcasing GR8 Tech’s ULTIM8 Sportsbook iFrame solution, Hyper Turnkey solution as well as its Casino Aggregation and Platform.
“At iGB L!VE, the Heavyweight Club brings all that into one experience, showing how those qualities and values translate into the tools, technology, and community that help our clients win at the top level,” Ghazaryan added.
“The Heavyweight Club is designed for those who aim to master our industry, not just be in it. At iGB LIVE, it becomes a space where like-minded operators can experience our performance-ready solutions up close and engage with others who share a relentless drive to succeed.
“It is an invitation to a different kind of conversation – one built around execution, excellence, and results.”
There will also be a ticket raffle for the Usyk vs Daniel Dubois 2 fight, scheduled to take place at London’s Wembley Stadium on 19 July.
Dubois first fought Usyk in August 2023 in a gruelling bout which saw the Ukrainian win by KO in the ninth round, though he was dropped in the fifth with what was judged to be a low blow by the Londoner, something which caused a lot of post-fight debate among fans, boxers and pundits.
