We are seeking an experienced FP&A Manager to join our Finance team. The FP&A Manager will be instrumental in driving our rolling forecasts, budgeting process, preparing board reports, and providing insightful financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making. This role requires a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail, robust financial modeling skills, and the ability to work closely with senior management. The position is responsible for managing and developing the FP&A team. This role requires frequent interaction with our business leaders in Europe and North America. The successful candidate must start their day at 07:00 Atlantic time (06:00 Eastern time).
YOUR CHALLENGE:
Financial Forecasting: Develop and maintain financial models to forecast future revenues and expenditures. Analyze financial data to identify trends and forecast future results. Provide timely updates and adjustments to forecasts based on changing business conditions.
Budgeting: Lead the annual budgeting process, including setting timelines, guidelines, and assumptions. Collaborate with budget-holders to prepare budgets that align with strategic objectives. Monitor budget variances and report significant discrepancies to management.
Board Reports: Prepare comprehensive monthly financial reports and quarterly board meeting presentations. These reports should clearly communicate financial status, projections, and strategic implications in a digestible format for board members.
Financial Analysis and Recommendations: Conduct deep-dive analyses on financial data and market trends to uncover opportunities or risks. Provide actionable recommendations to senior management to improve financial performance and strategic outcomes.
Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with stakeholders across the company to gather insights and ensure alignment on financial assumptions and outcomes. Act as a key financial advisor to department heads and senior management.
Financial system implementations: lead implementation of new systems and processes to support further financial data clarity, efficiency and controls.
TO DO IT, YOU WILL NEED:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A professional finance certification (such as CFA or CPA) is an asset.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in the online gambling industry.
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information and provide concise explanations.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex information in an understandable manner.
Proficient in ERP systems (Dynamics 365) and financial planning software, as well as MS Excel.
Strong leadership skills and experience in managing cross-functional projects.
Experience manipulating and reporting on large data volumes in spreadsheets (Google Sheets & excel), and data visualisation platforms (PowerBI, Tableau, Google Data Studio etc.)
Working Conditions:
This position is 100% remote. Must be available regular business hours in your evening and/or weekend work on occasion. Must possess a stable, high-speed internet and working cellular telephone. Must be able to routinely perform indoor work with minimum noise levels. Must be able to perform job functions independently and work effectively either on own or as part of a team. Must be able to plan and direct the work activities of self and others. Must be able to read and carry out various written instructions and follow oral instructions. Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence, naturally or electronically and may include adaptive aids. Must be capable of dealing calmly and professionally with numerous different personalities from diverse cultures at various levels within and outside of the organization and demonstrate highest levels of customer service and discretion when dealing with the public. Must be able to perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines / requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and/or fast pace. Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities. Must be capable of exercising highest level of discretion on both internal and external confidential matters.
Physical Requirements:
Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 8 hours per day. At times, occasional evening and weekend work may be required. Must be capable of travel by automobile (as driver and passenger), commercial airlines, rental vehicles and public transportation and be able to lodge in public facilities, as may be occasionally asked to travel to sites or events. Must be capable of regular, reliable, and timely attendance.
